ABOUT US

Third Place Pottery is an up and coming studio founded on the core tenants of healthy community, respect and curiosity.

Person carrying flowers

Third places—like libraries, cafes, and community centers—are vital for fostering connection and creativity. These are spaces outside of home and work where people can gather, relax, and engage with old and new friends. As these places have dwindled over the past decades, opportunities for casual connection have become rarer.

Third Place Pottery, located across from Gas Works Park in Seattle, aims to bring that spirit back. We offer classes, workshops, and memberships for all levels. Just as importantly, we aim to be a space to come together, throw clay, and build lasting relationships. Open 24/7 to members and students, drop in anytime to create, lounge, and recharge.
